Although I do indeed think that Copenhagen is wonderful, and will spend much of this blog hopefully showing you that, that’s not that only reason why the blog is called Wonderful CPH.

Ever since I met Dorte she had a very cool poster on her living room wall, which I always liked. Needless to say, we now have the same poster in our home together in Copenhagen – the one above in fact.

We took our love of that poster, which as you can probably tell is an old tourism poster, a step further and used it as the inspiration for our wedding invitation. We found a great design duo in the US, called This Paper Ship who brilliantly pulled together our perfect invitation artwork (left), drawn from various vintage style animation, including the Wonderful Copenhagen poster.

So it seems very fitting that this blog should be called Wonderful CPH. I hope you like it.
