I’m feeling very enthused about learning Danish at the moment so am always glad to try and ride that wave of enthusiasm for as long as possible. So today Eric and I are having a working lunch and doing some spoken practice for the upcoming module test.

We’re in a really cool bodega on Frederiksberg Alle called Dansk Frokost (at least I think that’s its name and not just a signal of its offering – it means Danish lunch). The barman even schooled me on my Danish when I ordered our beers and it was absolutely perfect – I plucked up the courage to mumble a half baked sentence and he very nicely corrected me, in a sympathetic way. So, win win. I’d like more of those instances please.
