Last Friday we caught up with J Tex & The Volunteers at Cafe Bartof in Frederiksberg.

The band revolves around a friend of a friend, called Jens, but don’t mistake this for favouritism. J Tex does a brilliant line in blues – clearly influenced by the simple and rough acoustic blues of the US south, but done in a very cool way that probably has something to do with him being Danish.
