So Friday night was date night, and what a splendid evening it turned out to be, organised solely by my wife, Dorte. Hats off to her, because after a long-overdue walk in the evening sunshine around Assistens cemetery, we then hit a great restaurant called Oysters & Grill.

Both are highly recommended. We got to say a hello to both Hans Christian Andersen and Ben Webster – one Danish, one not, both culturally significant in a major way if you ask me, and both buried in Assitens cemetery. For more on Ben Webster, take a look at this.

Then we ate deep fried oysters and scallops, then flank steak and whole dorade, with a bottle of French chardonnay. Magnificent.
