I spent the morning working in the Black Diamond library again today and on my way out popped in to their gift shop.

There’s something not quite right about a library having a gift shop, but I suppose it’s testament to the fact that the building is worth visiting in its own right beyond making use of its library services. Besides, any feelings I had of unnecessary commercialism were soon forgotten when I saw their excellent selection of postcards for sale for 12kr each (about £1.30). They’re exactly the style I love, and several of them reminded me of the 50s style of animation that inspired us with our Copenhagen wedding invitation and the poster that gave this blog its name.  The photo above is of the ones I bought.
