Oprah’s in the news more than normal at the moment as her much anticipated interview with Lance Armstrong is about to be broadcast. But for me, she did something far more interesting back in 2009, when she visited Copenhagen.

She was here in support of Chicago’s (ultimately failed) 2016 Olympic bid, and you can read the full report on her visit to “Denmark’s charming capital city” on her own website here.

The most interesting part was when Oprah toured what she calls “a typical Danish home”. Let me reassure you, it might be what the rest of the world thinks of when it comes to Scandinavian living, but it’s definitely not representative of any home I’ve been to in Denmark…it’s pretty funny – watch it here.
