Mikkeller is one of the best independent breweries in Denmark, and their bar is just around the corner from me in Vesterbro, on Viktoriagade.

The good news is that their second bar is about to open, Mikkeller & Friends in Nørrebro, on Stefansgade (that’s it to the left). And to celebrate that opening on Saturday 13th April (that’s this weekend!), they were going to give away 1000 free pints of beer, but they’ve changed that to 1000 free litres of draught beer. Outstanding work gentlemen, outstanding.
