After a perfect start in the bar at Nimb, we headed in to Tivoli itself.

I guess a lot of people might think that Tivoli is an old fashioned thing to do – after all, it is the world’s oldest fairground, founded in 1843. For me, that’s exactly the appeal though – just good old fashioned fun. Especially if you get lucky like we did and turn up just after the rain stops, ensuring a dry visit but with virtually no queues anywhere.

Dorte summed it up perfectly last night though – Tivoli feels like holiday. Which is pretty perfect for a birthday, I reckon.
