Finding new ways to keep Peanut amused is a regular theme of our weekends these days. And so we found ourselves recently down on the coast of Amager, Copenhagen’s southern island, at a place that was billed, to me at least, as a dog friendly beach.

Well, in truth, it was as much a beach as our balcony is, but it was dog friendly, and so we spent a few hours watching Pea tear it up with anyone who looked twice at her. Of particular interest was a German Shepherd puppy. We gave up trying to keep our picnic and blanket safe, and just had to let the hairy little critters take over.
